2011 2nd Annual ‘Trot 4 Our Troops 5K’ Race Facts
Event: This annual 5K race benefits Youth for Parker as well as Project Sanctuary, both nonprofit organizations involved in the Parker community. Targeted runners are those who live in the Parker area in addition to anyone who supports our troops.
Date & Time: Sunday, September 18th, 2011 at 8:00am
Course: The race will take place in the fields and trails of Salisbury Equestrian Park in Parker
9500 Motsenbocker Rd, Parker 80134
Cost: $20 by Sept. 10.
On race day registration time 7am cost $25
Amenities: All participants will receive a Goody Bag and T-shirt, which will contain a list of our sponsors and other promotional items. Gift cards or trophies will be given to the winners of the overall race as well as each age group.

Youth for Parker
Youth for Parker is dedicated to inspiring youth to become involved in their communities. The youth run about 10 yearly events designed by youth for youth. Youth for Parker provides junior and high school students with educational classes, community service opportunities, as well as safe, inexpensive events. Members learn through experience the different facets of business skills including leadership, teamwork, organization, and initiative.
Project Sanctuary
Project Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide therapeutic, curative, supportive and recreational activities to veterans, active military personnel, their spouses and children in a leisure environment.
